"Some Gadites defected to David at his stronghold in the desert.
They were brave
warriors, ready for battle and able to handle the shield and spear. Their faces
were thefaces of lions,
and they were as swift as gazelles in the mountains."
Bear with the random passage from the Bible.
I read this the other day and I can't get it out of my head.."Their faces were the faces of lions..."
What, exactly, does that mean?
It certainly meant that their faces were NOT an art exhibit for Sorrow and Fear.
Why does Darkness always surprise me?
Why does the Terrible Battle, and the fact that It Is , overwhelm me?
People...Warriors...have been fighting for what they believe in since shortly after the Beginning.
The Stakes have always been high. Terribly, horrifically high.
